8. Bishop Seamus has asked Fr Brown to move to Gateshead to be parish priest at St Joseph`s and St Wilfrid`s. Fr Sean Hall will be the new parish priest at St Mary`s and SS Peter and Paul. Fr Brown will say his last Mass at St Mary`s on Tuesday 28th August at 7.30pm. There will be some refreshments afterwards.

9. Father’s Last Mass: Fr. Brown will celebrate his last Mass at SS Peter and Paul on Monday 26th August at 7pm. Refreshments in the upper room afterwards. All welcome.

10. Please pray for the Family of Irene Berryman who died recently. Her funeral Service will take place on Tuesday 13th. July at 1pm.

10. Little Sisters of the Poor Sr, Rose of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Newcastle has sent a letter of thanks for your response to her appeal. £326.12 was given from SS Peter and Paul`s and a total of £916.20 from both parishes. Her letter is on the notice board.

13. Little Sisters of the Poor Sr. Rose of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Newcastle will be making an appeal to help their work today at all Masses

TAM charity- Tyneside Association of Malayalees and St Stephens’ Primary have together raised funds in excess of £600 as part of a charity event put together by the Indian community in the School recently. North Tyneside Elected Mayor Norma Redfearn and Head Teacher of St Mary’s Catholic Comprehensive School John Foster were in attendance alongside other guests. 7. Fish & Chip Supper. Paul & Lisa will cook for us again on 3rd. July. At 7.15pm. Our usual Social Evening with Raffle & Bingo will follow supper. Tickets £5.50 from the Piety stall. Any donations for the raffle are very welcome.

8. Food Banks: A large number of people are now dependent on food banks and the kindness of others to survive. If anyone would like to donate non-perishable groceries to be shared with people in need, they can leave their gifts at the piety stall and they will be donated to one of the food banks.

9. Bishop Seamus has asked Fr Brown to move to Gateshead to be parish priest at St Joseph`s and St Wilfrid`s. Fr Sean Hall will be the new parish priest at St Mary`s and SS Peter and Paul. Fr Brown will say his last Mass at St Mary`s on Tuesday 28th August at 7.30pm. There will be some refreshments afterwards.

10. Ordination to the Priesthood Bishop Seamus writes: Daniel Fitzpatrick will be ordained to the priesthood for our Diocese on Saturday 6 July 2013 at 11.00 am at St Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle. Although some seating is reserved there will be spare seats and parishioners from around the Diocese are welcome to come along to the Ordination Mass to join in this special celebration – just turn up on the day. It would be wonderful to have a full Cathedral as a welcome for our new priest

11. Little Sisters of the Poor Sr Rose of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Newcastle will be making an appeal to help their work on the weekend of July 6th-7th at all Masses

12. YEAR OF FAITH: The next episode of Fr Barron`s Catholicism DVD will be shown in the hall on Tuesday 2nd July at 7.30pm. The theme is “A BODY BOTH SUFFERING AND GLORIOUS: THE MYSTICAL UNION OF CHRIST AND THE CHURCH. All welcome
